Hi my name is Abby! I have worked with children since I was little as I grew up dancing and have been teaching dance since 2016. As a dance teacher, I have taught children from all different backgrounds and ages, and my classes span a multitude of different genres of dance. In addition to dance, visual art and music are other passions of mine as well. I love working with children and instilling a love of creativity in them as I believe it is an extremely important outlet and form of expression. I have babysat for friends and family amidst my dance teaching too. In terms of other experience outside of teaching, I also have been a camp counselor for a wide variety of ages of children. During my camp counselor experience, I supervised children throughout the entirety of the day and night for a plethora of weeks. I served as a leader, role model, mentor, and teacher for them during each camp session. I absolutely love working with children, and I am a very reliable person who cares about others and is very professional. My personality is very big, and I have a lot of positivity and kindness to offer. I am great with communication skills and am dependable. Outside of loving children, I am a huge animal lover as I have two golden retrievers that are my heart and soul. I also used to have a cat who was my best friend too! I am also able to teach French and am looking for tutoring opportunities in the city.
