Hello! My name is Beatrice. I moved from LA to NYC in January for a Food Studies masters program at NYU with a concentration in history and writing. My professional background is in the arts. For the past 6 years I have been a gallerist but before that, I worked as a children’s educational intern at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco, nurturing creativity and thoughtfulness in children through guided tours, discussions, and customized art projects. I come from a diverse background- half Salvadoran and half French and would be happy to share my culture with your children. I speak fluent French and am proficient in Spanish. Some activity ideas besides park hangs and ice cream include: gallery and museum visits, a volunteer day at the NYU urban garden, a picnic in the park, and my favorite activity- a food field trip!
