Hi there!
My name is Ciara. I am currently a junior at Fordham University studying communications and art history. I am currently interning at a small museum in Manhattan this summer two days a week and am looking for sitting part time the other days of the week. I have been a nanny to both young and older children, boys and girls. My first sitting job was long term for a young two-year-old girl. I was responsible for putting her down for naps, making her bottles with formula, as well changing her diapers and bathing her. I also was a sitter for an older child, a six year old girl. For this job I made sure to pick her up from school and drop her off at piano lessons. Both children were amazing to watch, and I learned a lot from being able to watch two children of very different ages. I love working with children because being able to be apart of their growing interests and budding personalities is an amazing and fulfilling job for me. I think what sets me apart as a babysitter is my ability to adapt to any child in terms of thier unique personality. I have babysat long term for two very different children with very different ages and personalities. Having this experience allowed me to better understand how to approach situations with better care for the child as well as the parents. I also have gained experience in being able to be stern when need be with children I am responsible for.
