Hi!
I have extensive experience with taking care of children, specifically after school. In one of my previous employments, I was an extended day teacher, taking care of children ages 3+, from 2:30 to 6:00 pm. In this position, I worked with other extended-day teachers to provide not only exceptional care but also entertainment and help with studies. I planned daily activities for the children, including arts and crafts, origami, painting, coloring, and outside recess. Further, I am committed to connecting with each child individually to understand their needs, instead of providing a general plan for all children. This allows me to connect with each child more, as well as earn their trust to achieve a better dynamic in which they are both happy and safe.
Additionally, I am a theatre artist and theatre-maker. My experience in this field means I have a heightened ability to adapt to different work environments, I am creative and have great problem-solving skills, and I bring great energy to every job I take on. Furthermore, I have great public speaking skills and understand how to nourish and encourage confidence with my students and the children I take care of.

I love working with children. I have been told I have good paternal instincts and embody a balance of fun and silly with responsibility and hard work.
