Hi everyone!! My name is Ella, and I am a May 2023 graduate from Ohio State and moved to the city in June! I started babysitting for neighbors when I was just 12 years old. Since then, I have watched kids of all ages— from newborns to
pre-teens. I am really passionate about working with children, and like to think that my many years of experience have made me a very engaging babysitter!

In college, I volunteered at two local elementary schools working with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls, and completed a fellowship through Teach For America teaching math to second graders. I also worked part-time with adults with disabilities, and babysat for a family I met through my sorority alumni network! Since moving to NYC, I have gotten involved in several volunteer projects playing sports with children with disabilities, and teaching yoga at an elementary school.
I work from 9-5, Monday-Friday as a software engineer, but I am available to babysit on the weekends (daytime and evening) and some weekday evenings.
I am new to Sittercity, but I currently babysit on the occasional date night//weekend for a family here in NYC. I am happy to provide references!!
