For the past three summers, Ive been a summer camp counselor, working with kids ages 7-15 during mealtimes, activities, and bedtime. During the semester, I worked as a tutor and after-school instructor for middle school ages, learning about supporting kids with homework and guiding them through projects. Over this summer, Im teaching 7th grade reading as a Teaching Fellow for Breakthrough NY and plan to pursue a career in education. I especially love spending time outdoors, reading books, and doing arts and crafts with kids. Im primarily available on weekends and would be happy to provide references if requested.
