Hi, I’m Esther, and I would love to work with and help out your family! I graduated this year with a BFA from Pittsburgh and just recently made the move to New York. As the eldest sister of three in my own family, I’ve always had a sense of responsibility and care that came to those younger than me. I’ve always loved kids and working with kids whenever I have had the chance. My most recent job that I’ve had working with kids was a few years ago at a Boy Scouts of America camp in Pennsylvania as the archery supervisor. This was one of my good friends’ childhood camp and it was a job that scared me before going, but I had a great time working with campers from early elementary to high school ages. I was responsible for the safety of the kids and teaching them how to use and handle archery weapons safely. I learned a lot about leadership and safety skills, while also having fun and making sure the kids were having even more fun. I was required to be CPR and first aid certified and was even asked back for next year’s summer program. I had a passion for babysitting as a young girl and even took a babysitting class as a middle schooler. I’m excited to help alleviate the responsibilities of the parents I’ll be working with as well as create strong and trusting relationships with the kids and parents!
