Write a messageHello! I’m Isabella, a current 19 year-old Wellesley College student planning to major in biology and education, based in Manhattan, NY. I have two summers worth of experience working with children (elementary-junior high age levels) as a summer camp counseloralmost three nowso I’m very excited to get the chance to make more incredibly fun and engaging memories with kids again! I also have two younger siblings (now ages 13 and 17) and younger cousins I’ve taken care of growing up that have given me many, many years of experience in the unpredictability of babysitting! I love partaking in crafts, helping out with homework, playing in the park, and many other activities! Regarding relevant experiences, during my past year in college, I have aided the Wellesley College Study Center as a Student Teacher Assistant (specifically working with ages 34) to engage children in appropriate and interactive sensory play; set up classroom displays for snack time and morning meetings; and supervise activities in dramatic play, art, and building. In addition to this, I’ve been a Ronald McDonald House volunteer for Wellesley for Boston’s Children Hospital Organization, where I’ve been able to create basic necessities for kids such as goodie bags, holiday cards, blankets, etc., and creating crafts with kids!
