Hi, Im Jac! I hold a BA in Psychology from CUNY Queens College and a masters certificate in Voice Science from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.

With 15 years of experience as a private teacher, Ive managed my own teaching business and worked with after-school programs at TADA! and other childrens theaters. Ive also been a live-out nanny/babysitter for six years in NYC and three years in Houston. My experience spans all ages, from newborns to toddlers, and Ive managed large groups of children in various settings. Im happy to provide excellent references upon request.

I have experience working with children with special needs, including those with cerebral palsy, ADD, ADHD, and OCD.

Being a nanny is incredibly fulfilling for me, as I enjoy creating a stimulating, nurturing environment when parents are away. Babysitting is similar but in shorter bursts.

Im a fun, interactive babysitter whos attentive and engaged with the kids. Im also comfortable with watching friends and pets, and I love organizing playdates, the more, the merrier! My goal is to align with your caregiving style and values, ensuring that I support your parenting approach.

I encourage curiosity and creativity through various activities, including music, games, reading, building forts, exploring outside, going to museums, playgrounds and the library! I have plenty of experience traveling with kids, whether navigating strollers on the subway or trekking with the scooter across town. I also have plenty of experience helping with school homework and reading logs.

While I do enjoy an occasional movie day, I prefer to keep TV and screens to a minimum. Im also happy to assist with cooking and light housekeeping. As an excellent cook, I can help prepare delicious, nutritious meals for your family if desired!

Taking care of children is one of my greatest joys, and Im looking for a family that is kind and matches my hope for a part-time schedule. Im confident in my ability to be a fantastic caregiver, and Im excited to find the right fit!
