Hello, my name is Kara Casey, I am 22 years old and am planning to move to New York City this August. This past May I graduated from Florida State University with my Masters degree in Elementary Education. Over the past 3 years at the University, I experienced teaching a wide array of grade levels at a variety of local Elementary schools. I absolutely love working with students and helping them to grow and succeed. I also have years of experience in both tutoring and nannying. I spent this past year as a tutor for a visually impaired student and additionally I have nannied for different familiesover the past 4 years. I have throughly enjoyed working jobs in child care and helping to make an impact in each students lives through care, patience, and enthusiasm.

I take on every situation in a positive and open-minded manner. Due to my background in Education, I am extremely patient, specialize in breaking down information and presenting it comprehensibly, and am very well organized.

I absolutely love baking and taste testing fun sweet treats. I also enjoy spending time at the beach or pool especially with friends and family. Additionally, I am very active and love to go exploring on trails, take long walks, play volleyball, and practice yoga.
