Hi! My name is Kate. I grew up in Manhattan and am back here for the summer interning with the Parks and Rec department in Queens. I am a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh studying Fine Art and Social & Political History. I have found joy in caring for children for as long as I can remember. In terms of my experience, I have babysat with 5 different families, worked as a childrens ski instructor at Windham Mountain for 4 winters, taught free, online childrens art classes in response to Covid, created gallery materials and led creative workshops for children as part of a museum education internship at the Smithsonians National Museum of the American Indian in Battery Park, and, when in Pittsburgh, I assist in the preschool 3 and 4 classrooms at The Childrens School. I want to spend some of my evenings and days off babysitting in the NYC area this summer. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
