Hi! My name is Lea. I’m currently a 20 year old undergraduate at Oberlin College studying Studio Art with a minor in Art History. Despite my studies being centered in the arts, I have had lots of experience working with kids in a variety of spaces and ages! Over the winter I was a teachers assistant at the Brooklyn New School for a 4th grade classroom, where I assisted students in all subjects. The summer before, I was a senior camp counselor and kayaking instructor for Brown Ledge Camp- an all girls sleep-away camp for girls 8-15. In between these two jobs I’ve been a babysitter for the families in my neighborhood. With my wide range of babysitting experience and jobs with kids, I am able to come up with a large array of fun things to do, balancing both creative projects and physical activity. I was raised in New York City in downtown Manhattan so I know my way around the city really well. I love working with kids and hope to work with you soon!
