Hi there! My names Magnolia and I am a current undergrad here in the city (Manhattan). My friends like to describe me as friendly, outgoing, and bubbly and I have had over five years of experience working with children from babysitting to tutoring.

When I lived in San Francisco, I worked as an assistant teacher at a local Spanish immersion Pre-school called Primeros Pasos, where I typically aided in the infants classroom, taking care of 3-4 babies at a time. I also worked with toddlers at the center and enjoyed leading activities/crafts for them, cooking, and playing with them. Thanks to my time at Primeros Pasos, I am well equipped to meet any childs needs, personality, and interests. I believe it is crucial to let the child lead the activities (give them choices and have them decide what they want to do, where they want to go for a walk, which songs they want to sing, etc.) while still adhering to the parents ideal schedule (nap and meals at specific times).

I am comfortable with pets and am willing to do any additional house cleaning.

I do have a second job working as a hostess in a midtown restaurant, but am available during the mornings and afternoons and occasionally some evenings. Once I resume classes in August, Ill have more flexibility/openings at night.
