As an oldest daughter, I have loved working with children since I was 13. I love being able to create a fun environment where the kids can be themselves. I am a really hands on caretaker. I love to cook and bake and include the kids in everything. Playing games is a must! I also love to bring little activities such as arts and crafts or even book clubs if the kids are old enough. For most of my experience, I worked with toddlers which I have to say is one of the most fun adventures I’ve ever had. Most recently, I worked with middle schoolers. I would bake with them and take them to all their extracurriculars. I try to be the big sister they’ve never had and make them feel safe and comfortable. My number one priority is the kids. I want them to have fun and be able to feel comfortable while I’m around. Being that I’m hands on, I think it makes for the perfect partnership. I love to be as helpful as I can by cooking and cleaning. I’m happy to do whatever you need. I’m a great listener and love to include the parents in my plans. I will do my best to follow the rules, plans, and guidelines that the parents set.
