Hello! My name is Maura and I recently graduated from NYU. I have experience volunteer teaching children ages 7-13 in the performing arts for about 3 years doing things like theatre games and acting exercises. I worked with a family with a 9 month old and it was truly such a beautiful experience to get to watch them grow and change each and every time I saw them. I worked with this child on developing baby sign language while simultaneously taking a class on language acquisition and I am well educated on the stages development. My duties included some food preparation, bottle prep, diaper changes, cleaning (dishes, the floor, food from the child’s face), and play time where we read books and played with toys. I am an optimistic and friendly person who values kindness and taking responsibility.

Rate: $21/hour – $25/hour
