Hi there, my name is Maya. Lovely to virtually meet you. I have twelve years of experience as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and camp counselor. My experience includes four years as the primary babysitter for a child with a serious illness/disability requiring specialty care. I also have a year’s experience working in a special education classroom and in gen ed classrooms working with students of various abilities and support needs.

About me: I received my undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in 2017, and a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School in 2023. I also completed a year of clinical training as an interfaith hospital chaplain at Brigham and Women’s in Boston this past May. In my chaplaincy work, I hold space for folks to experience their feelings safely. I bring that sense of calm and capacity to my child care as well.

I relocated from Boston to NYC, where most of my friends and family live, and am now catching up on quality time with my loved ones. I love working with kids and building community; I hope for the chance to work with you and your family!
