Hello!

My name is Melissa, and I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old (oh the 90s … lol). During high school I spent 3 years volunteering with the Special Olympics team, which included kids school age elementary through high school. I also spent a summer as a nanny to a 5th grader, a summer working at a day care and have a special needs god-sister who I babysat on a regular basis while she was growing up.

I have continued to babysit on the side throughout my adult life, although my career is in fashion. Last fall while furloughed, I spent 5 days a week with a 1st and 3rd grader and helped them with their home schooling. I currently work for a family with girls of similar age and would love to add more families to the mix!

As a babysitter, I love to engage the kids by playing games and doing activities. Also, pets are a plus because Im an animal lover! As a single female in my 30s with a cat, I dont have my own kids yet and sincerely enjoy doing this until my time comes.

I am fully vaccinated and happy to wear a mask the entire time if the family prefers. Please let me know if you have any questions for me!
