Hi, my name is Olivia! I moved to NYC for a new employment opportunity. Since I have a lot of experience with babysitting and teaching children, I figured this would be a great side job!

Previously, I was a third-grade long term substitute teacher from September 2020-January 2021. After a strenuous interview process where I earned my emergency teaching license without an education degree, I was selected to teach English Language Arts. Despite lacking any experience in this field, I had my own classroom and was tasked with new responsibilities each day. My ability to pick up new skills quickly allowed me to take the necessary actions to effectively overcome the new challenges that arose during my time in this position. Additionally, while I was in college I was a teachers assistant in a preschool classroom and after school program. Furthermore, I have experience six years of experience as a camp counselor for a community-focused program that selected children ages nine-ten who were struggling in their home and school life.

I would also like to note I am CPR/AED certified!
