Hello! Im Paloma and Ive been looking after kids since I was eight years old. My love for kids started when my mom got pregnant in 2006 and I practically became a second mom to my little brother. Having a little brother has taught me a lot about responsibility and care, and made me grow and mature immensely.

When I was 16, I went to boarding school, where I was spending more time with kids than ever. After classes, I was responsible for watching over 10 kids at once. I enjoyed playing with them, helping with homework, watching TV, baking, and making sure they went to bed on time. I also had fun teaching them some words in Portuguese and Spanish.

Moving to New York three years ago, I’ve missed the connection with kids.

I love how I feel when I’m around kids as they bring out my silly side. Being a sitter allows me to do what I love and disconnect a little with the chaos of the city. It gives me the opportunity to distract myself and play games, help out with homework, watch movies, or just hanging out and chatting.

I’d describe myself as reliable, trustworthy and responsible. I love meeting new kids and learning more about them so I can adapt to their needs and interests. I would love to chat and learn more about your kid!
