Write a messageHi, I’m Sam! I’m a 24-year-old trans girl living in New York City. I fell in love with childcare in high school, when I began teaching a Hebrew school class at my local synagogue. Since then, I have worked as a teaching assistant, babysitter, overnight camp counselor, and science outreach educator. I love long-term babysitting because I get to create a lasting bond not just with the kids, but with their entire family. I’m particularly interested in working with kids who might have trouble in school. I had a difficult time managing my adhd as a kid which is something I have found that a lot of young people relate to.
