My name is Sofia Garacci, I am a former psychotherapist and parenting coach. About ten years ago, I made a career shift to pursue my true passion: childcare. After years of helping individuals cope with their mental health challenges, I realized that my heart was drawn to working with children in a more hands-on capacity.
Driven by my love for nurturing and fostering healthy development in young minds, I decided to leave behind the confines of my office and embark on a new adventure as a full-time nanny. Despite the surprised reactions from colleagues and friends, I knew that this was the right path for me. My background in psychology equipped me with valuable insights into child behavior and development, enabling me to connect with children on a deeper level.As a nanny, I found fulfillment in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I enjoy planning educational activities, engaging in imaginative play, and providing emotional support to the children under my care. I find immense joy in my work, and the genuine connections I formed with the families I worked for reaffirm my decision every day.Through my journey, I discovered that true fulfillment lies in following one’s passion, even if it means taking a leap of faith and stepping outside of societal expectations.
