Hello! My name is Callie and I am a current student, wrapping up my freshman year at Arizona State University. I am majoring in Social Work with future hopes to begin youth mental health counseling after receiving my degree’s. This semester I have gotten the opportunity to work at the YMCA near me for after school care (Kinder-8th), which has prepared me well to begin independently watching kids in a household setting. I am CPR certified, along with having a cleared background check & fingerprint card as proof. I also have my Illinois driver’s license and feel comfortable driving in any conditions. I will be coming back home to Oak Park for the summer around the beginning of May, and am looking for a summer job that will ideally keep me involved with the younger generation. I love to sing & dance as I was a former theater kid, as well as arts and crafts that draw out my uncoordinated creative side. I have also really enjoyed cooking and baking ever since the pandemic hit, and find myself using new recipes weekly!
