I love being a sitter because it really brings me joy to care for and help others. Knowing that I did something to make someone’s day better or some learned something from me brings me joy. I was born with nurturing and caring personality, so I feel that it is only right to use that to benefit others as well as bring myself happiness at the same time. I have tried a handful of job fields and absolutely nothing can compare to childcare. I worked for two years at garden friends an early learning center/ daycare. I worked with ages 10 months to 7 years. I was a teachers aid under Sayreville board of education for a preschool class. I also teach fine motor skills, potty training, letters and numbers in English Spanish and sign language. I am CPR and first aid certified which are skills I have had to use a perform before and performed correctly. I have also gotten 13 sleeping two years olds up for their nap and outside when there was a fire at the school I worked for. My number one priority is the physical and emotional safety of the child in my care, I protect every child as if they are my own when it comes to their overall safety.
