Hi Families!!

My name is Alex and I am moving to University City, Philadelphia this summer on August 1! I will be starting my graduate program at UPenn this fall to receive my Masters in Social Work!

Previously I have worked at numerous daycare settings, most recently I worked at the catholic school which I attended my whole life back home here in Michigan, and I spent time floating across the classrooms from ages infancy-4, however most of my time was spent in the infant classroom, working with our youngest friends! Our ratio for staff/baby was 1:4, and I am extremely comfortable caring for multiple newborns at a time. I am extremely versed in giving bottles, feeding solids/purees, rocking/consoling to sleep, and interactive, enriching tummy time or play! Working with children has always been a hobby of mine and throughout every job I’ve ever had, I’ve always been a babysitter part-time too.

I am looking to find a family that has some consistent weekly/weekend needs for early August, and that I can continue to work with part time (as my schedule allows-potentially afternoons after classes) and on weekends once school begins. I have a car and I am comfortable with having a car seat and providing transportation for the kids. I am comfortable traveling outside of the city for jobs too! I am very flexible.

I love all pets, but am partial to dogs as my favorite :) light clean-up around the house and tidying as able is included in my hourly rate as well as any potential laundry needs or cooking needs!
