I worked at a child and family development center (which is similar to a daycare) for two years. During this time I cared largely with two year olds and supervised up to 10 children at a time. I also worked in the 6 months to 1 year classroom and the 3 to 4 year old classroom. I gained experience caring for both neurotypical and neurodivergent children.
Since that time I have served as a nanny/babysitter for several families. I currently am nanny to a two year old that I have been caring for since she was 7 months old.
I feel that every adult and child deserves to met where they are with respect, love, clear communication, and a sense of humor.
