Experience
Ive been working with kids since I was 11 years old, when I started babysitting a family-friends infant.

Since then, Ive done all sorts of work with kids, including:
– volunteering with kids with disabilities
– providing childcare and running programming in a Women’s Safe Haven
– of course, more babysitting
– currently, nannying a 4-year-old and 5-month-old

About Me
Id describe my personality as grounded, curious, and earnest.

I find joy and gratitude working with kids. They are reflections of what adults would be if we didnt have to armor up.

In my spare time, I like to read books on everything from how trauma changes the brain to linear algebra. I’ve also been learning how to code for virtual reality.

I moved to Philly last summer when my partner began residency here. So I’m new and want to really integrate into the city. I love finding cool events to attend like garden tours, the Mid-Autumn Festival, plant giveaways, etc.

My Skills Include
1) Meeting kids where they’re at instead of where I want and think they should be
2) Engaging kids as fully fleshed-out, brilliant little humans
3) Working with kids that have experienced trauma or are neurodivergent
