I have worked with children 1-13 in a range of professional and volunteer contexts. I also have 10 years of experience babysitting children 2-11; references are available on request. I am enthusiastic, as ready to play and laugh as I am to make dinner. I will be excited to teach your child origami, bake something together (very carefully!), dance the night away, or read.

As an AmeriCorps tutor-mentor and then a Reading Support teacher, I worked with high-needs middle school students, so I am comfortable caring for children with a wide range of behavioral and cognitive needs. Two years as a preschool teaching assistant left me with an understanding of early childhood development and an extensive arsenal of developmentally appropriate activities. I love working with children, and I can’t wait to meet you and yours!
