Hey everyone! I’m Ava, a soon-to-be college graduate from the University of Kentucky with a love for psychology, specifically child psychology. I am thrilled to transition into a role where I can utilize my knowledge to positively impact young minds and provide child care. For the past four years, I’ve had the pleasure of being a babysitter for an incredible family with three delightful children, currently aged 4, 5, and 8. This experience has not only honed my childcare skills but also deepened my understanding of the varying needs of children at different developmental stages. Every year presents it’s new joys and challenges! I grew up in Wexford, but am willing to provide services all throughout the Pittsburgh area. My commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment is further reinforced by my background as a lifeguard for many summers. This experience has equipped me with essential lifesaving skills, including CPR and the ability to respond swiftly to a child in distress. In addition to my academic and childcare experiences, I love for hanging out with the kiddos, whether it’s playing with toys, walks through the park or neighborhood, or other educational activities that help build the skills of a developing child.
