Hi There!

My name is Emily, and I’m hoping to serve as a Nanny/Babysitter for a local family!

I’m 26 years old, and a graduate from Carnegie Mellon University where I studied K-12 Music Education. Since graduating, I’ve taught music to children ages 4-18 in local schools and summer camps. I taught at a private school in Shadyside last year, but decided to take a step away from daytime music teaching. I currently teach private music lessons online in the evenings, but am hoping to use my childcare experiences during the day as a nanny or sitter!

I have always had an affinity for relating with children and find a lot of fulfillment in serving as a warm and stable influence in their lives. I am silly, creative, and light hearted, while also being highly responsible and reliable. As a certified teacher, I can help children with school if necessary and have all state and national childcare clearances! ***Another plus of hiring me, is that in my previous position I received the Covid-19 vaccine, making me a less risky visitor in your home.
