Hello! I’m Kayla, a rising junior at Carnegie Mellon University, where I’m studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have always had a deep connection with children, especially since I have a younger sister whom I have been responsible for looking after while our parents were at work. Being her caregiver, I took on various tasks like ensuring she got to her bus stop safely, picking her up after school, preparing meals, and regularly checking in on her well-being.

During my high school years, I actively engaged in volunteer work that often involved working with younger kids. These experiences provided me with opportunities to share my knowledge and skills with them, which I found incredibly rewarding. Teaching them new things and witnessing their growth ignited a passion within me for fostering a positive and nurturing environment for children.

What sets me apart as a sitter is my background in engineering.
