Hello! My name is Megan. I’m a Philadelphia native who has been in Pittsburgh since 2013, which is when I came out here to attend the University of Pittsburgh for psychology. During school and after, I worked as a therapist at Western Psych on the Child and Adolescent unit until I moved on to Family Based Therapy. I left Family Based this past April because I am now attending nursing school in the hopes of being a psychiatric nurse.
I have always loved working with and spending time with children, including my 4 year old nephew. I have a lot of experience with kids struggling with mental health/behavioral health, but I also love working with kids without these struggles.
I have 2 cats and many plants. My boyfriend and I enjoy spending time in parks and at flea and farmer’s markets in our free time (:
