Hello! Im Tessa. I’m currently an undergrad student at Pitt. I’m majoring in communication science and disorder and will be going to grad school in the fall for speech-language pathology. In my free time I like to cook, bake, and read. I also have a mini labradoodle!

I began working in childcare during high school as a babysitter. Since starting college, I’ve had positions as a tutor, school-age assistant teacher, and AmeriCorps member. I’ve mostly worked with children ages 3 and up but have some experience with younger children. I participated in a LEND traineeship and have some experience with children who have milder cases of neurodevelopmental disorders, but I am not the best fit for children who have more severe special needs. I am able to help children with homework in any subject. I am also up to date on all vaccines and I am certified in CPR, AED, and basic first aid.
