Hello! I’m Susan Severino and I am an energetic, passionate, certified school counselor who graduated from Rutgers GSE in 2021. I began working at a local YMCA daycare and have had nothing but wonderful, enriching experiences working with kids since then.

My experience in school counseling such as providing group/individual counseling, doing fun Social Emotional Learning lessons, and facilitating conflict resolution has equipped me to not just a be babysitter but a very knowledgable, well-rounded caregiver.

Working with parents in my field has also been just as rewarding! I have heavily collaborated with parents because I believe all-around support is crucial for growth. Parents have also felt comfortable in confiding in me their challenges so I am understanding of parentss wants and needs when it comes to help with their kids.

I am eager to continue to put forth my wealth of knowledge and passion into being of service to kids into this next chapter. I am confident that I can help support a familys goal in cultivating a warm, positive, environment where kids can thrive.
