I am currently a freshman at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign and I am majoring in Marketing with a minor in Advertising. All throughout my years as a student I have worked with all ages of children and I have volunteered Hepizbah House, this organization is a foster home located in Oakpark. While volunteering there every weekend we focused on social skills, working with advanced technology and simple tasks such as working through homework. Having a younger brother who was apart of the foster care system I am deeply rooted in helping the development of foster children let alone children. Along with working in a foster home I also was very involved in an organization created to help develop friendships with children of physical and mental handicaps, through that organization I have learned how to work with children with special needs. I made some of my strongest friendships through that organization and I still talk to my buddy to this day and she is attending a community college near my hometown.I also have two younger brothers so adventuring, playing video games, and being outside are definitely hobbies of mine. Being in the outdoors is definitely a passion of mine, and last summer I went backpacking in British Columbia. I hiked for ten days with a close group of friends and after coming back from that trip I have continued to be active in all of my pursuits. A few fun facts about me are I am conversational in spanish, im an aspiring videographer, and I am a deep dish pizza enthusiast.
