I am a substitute teacher that mainly works with preschoolers! I love taking care of young children and have found I am often remembered by little students even if Ive only subbed for them one day. They seem to love my style which includes acknowledging their feelings when upset or mad, talking through with them about how their actions have consequences, and making sure they feel safe to be themselves. Its important to me that the children I am with, feel safe to make mistakes in their environment. Managing emotions is part of development.
