Hello! My name is Shayanna (Shay) and I bring over 7 years of dedicated experience in childcare, working with children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. My journey in childcare began at the YMCA, where I spent 5 enriching years as a counselor and assistant director. During this time, I had the privilege of working with children of all abilities, including those with special needs and neurodivergences.
I am known for my creativity, energy, passion, and patience. With a degree in psychology and an associate degree in social work, I have a solid foundation in understanding child development and behavior. This fall, I am excited to further my education by pursuing my Licensed Social Worker (LSW) certification.
I am available for morning hours to assist with house management or help your children get ready for school. I have my own car, making transportation convenient and reliable. I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your children.
