Though I am the youngest sibling in my household however, while growing up we shared our home with a lot of my younger cousins. Some who were almost 10-15 years younger than I. Hence, from an early age I was a second parent to most of my younger cousins. After school it would be just us as our parents would be working.
I must say I have no particular training or have been certified in any baby sitting courses but I have been certified in first response training and first aid from my previous employment. I have taken care of babies before. I have fed them, cleaned them and know a thing or two on how to care for them. A year ago my cousin sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Holding that baby girl in my arms took me back to the time when I held my cousin sister the same way I was holding that little baby.
So needless to say I love little babies and so far babies have loved me back.
