Hey there! I’m Holly Liu, a 25-year-old who once called the Boerum Hill/Brooklyn Heights area home. A bit about myself: I have a deep love for children and am currently pursuing courses at Columbia University in psychology with aspirations of earning a PhD in the future.

After graduating with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, I spent a few years in corporate America. However, I quickly realized my passion for connecting with people on a personal level. This led me to embrace my empathetic and nurturing nature, seeking opportunities to positively impact others.

Over the years, I’ve taken on various caretaking roles, including providing support to students at The School at Columbia from preschool to 8th grade, babysitting for neighborhood kids, and working part-time as a dog sitter. In my role as a school psychologist extern, I work with children in managing their emotions, utilizing arts & crafts techniques to help with emotional regulation. My caretaking style is gentle and sensitive, which has only been reinforced by my studies!
