Hi there! Im Karla Torres, I am a 23 year old graduate with a bachelors in psychology and have experience with kids within the spectrum alongside with raising my own sister who is almost nine years old. I have dedicated most of my time raising my sister and working with kids in the spectrum and now I am looking for something new and exciting where I can help parents take care of their little ones.

Working with kids and being a caregiver to kids is something that I like to do because I think its very important to give kids the upmost attention when its about their well-being and having a nanny, babysitter, and some extra help with the family is a good way to do that.

Something very important to me is the well-being of kids not only physically but mentally. As a psychology major something that I take very serious and is very important to me is a child’s mental health state. I think some kids can be misunderstood for the simple fact that that they can be labeled as just kids. I believe that every kid is different and not every kid heals the same way or can communicate as well as others.

Thus, I think I can be a great help, and my love for kids has grown since I became a caregiver myself.
