I adore working with children, and consider it my life’s passion. I enjoy getting to know the different personality each different child has, and help you help them become the person they are made to be. Every child is unique, and needs different things to help them grow. I enjoy helping children find their own unique voices and passions in life.

I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to high schoolers. I have

volunteered at Vacation Bible School for many years, and some years help take the youth volunteers out on trips afterward. I also have helped with a Kid’s Night Out program, and have worked in a church nursery.

I have tutored students one on one, in the classroom and after school. I was also substitute teacher for two years for all grades, from kindergarten to high school seniors. I have a huge love for reading, and make it my goal to help any child who needs or wants it to become a better reader. I like to share with them the magic a book can bring to their world.

I have a special place in my heart for special needs children. I have worked with them many different times and ways. I worked for 7 years with special needs children in both an elementary school and high school. I also have done a summer nanny position with a special needs child. I have worked with children of many different diagnosis, and am comfortable using some medical equipment, if needed. I am always comfortable learning how, if need be.
