Hello all! My name is Dana, I am 25 years of age and I hope youll take a quick peek at my profile to see what I have to offer!
I am not a born and breed Ohioan, but I am from North Carolina. I moved here in high school and have lived here since, so Im very familiar with the buckeye spirited city of Columbus. After being dragged against my will to several OSU events and games by friends, I can say I am finally turning into a Buckeye fan. I currently work for Buckeye Health Plan, under Centene Corporation. I live with family, own a car, and live on the north side of Columbus. I am currently in school at Columbus State. I used to attend Kent State University, but had a family emergency when my father got sick and had to return to Columbus. I am now in the process of completing basic courses and then plan on attending OSU to finish up. I enjoy sporting events, gardening, movies (Im a movie buff and will gladly have movie debates with my siblings), reading, learning languages, relaxing with friends and family, and traveling. I have been to France and England and love to tell the tales of my travels to anyone who wants to listen. This was a favorite for the children at the daycare I used to work at. Growing up I was always the baby. With my siblings, cousins, etc I was always the youngest and wouldve thoroughly enjoyed a little brother or sister. When I got into childcare you could say I was following my sisters lead as she had started two years ahead of me. I found that it was one of the best jobs I had until that point and even after at the age I am now. I am looking to get back into childcare and do something I actually love. To my parents chagrin, I dont think I will be having children soon but I enjoy teaching them and learning from them. I am a big fan of creativity and like to promote that with children in my care as well in the form of crafts, reading, and igniting their imagination engines. I welcome families with children of all ages. I would love to get the opportunity to be someone your children can feel comfortable being themselves around and someone that you all, as parents, are able to trust while you handle the ins and outs of life or just to be able to enjoy a meal alone.
