Dear family, My name is Claudia and I am 30 years old. I am from Bogot, a beautiful city in the center of Colombia. Currently, I live in the United States, New Jersey. Last year and this year I traveled to Europe to work as a babysitter and learn about other cultures, that’s why I decided to study this career as a nurse, working for a year and a half in Argentina, specifically in Buenos Aires, with a family taking care of their two children. That experience helped me grow as a person and get to know myself better. Now that I am in the US I want to continue focusing on the care of children and the elderly. Since I have an incredible affinity with children, everything they can teach us is incredible. I love playing with them and watching them grow, and regarding the elderly I have the empathy to accompany them and help them in their respective process. Throughout my experience I have felt very lucky to be able to work while learning about their cultures and in this case I am excited to continue learning English. Children have a lot of energy, so I was always looking for new activities to entertain them. I played different games with them, I took them to the park or the pool, I read them stories. Of course, I also helped them with their school homework. I am a very active person and I love outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, camping or just going for a walk. But my true passion is learning languages and understanding other cultures.
