Welcome! My name is Susan. I am a college student and restaurant manager. I am leaving the food industry to dive into my career along with enjoying more family time. Growing up my parents would take in single mothers who needed help with getting on their feet. This is where my love for child care started. I was always surrounded by children. All four years of high school I babysat 2 children ages 2 and 5. This job required me feed them, change them, and put the baby down for a nap along with taking them to the park. After high school from 2015-2018 I became a step mother to three kids that loved with me ages 2, 5, and 7. While the kids were at school/daycare I was a nanny for a 2 year old for one year from 2015-2016. The job required me to do child development activities such as learning the alphabet, colors, numbers, how to pick up after themselves, light meal prepping and laundry. In 2016-2018 I nannied a newborn up until almost 2 years old. His routine required much more attentiveness and he had specific food regulations. I helped in potty training and walking and other milestones along the way. I have 3 child development classes under my belt as well from college. I am willing to be certified for CPR is need be. I understand that your child is your number one priority and I will make it mine as well. I am open to any type of parenting and will meet any requirements implied of me. Thank you.
