I love working with children because my mom was a daycare owner from a very young age. I used to come after school to help, and that is where my love for children began. In college, I decided to major in Childhood Education. I am currently going into my 10th year of teaching as an elementary school teacher. I’m currently a licensed general education, special education with a focus on learning disabilities, and bilingual education certified educator. I have taught kindergarten, pre-k, second grade, eighth grade, and fifth grade.

I am also a part-time tutor online who helps students with Math, Reading, and Writing. I have a passion for education as it is something my parents and family instilled in me at a\ very young age! Spanish is my first language and I still speak on a day-to-day basis, especially working in a bilingual school.

When I am not teaching, I am going for jogs/runs, working out, hanging out with friends, or hanging out with my favorite person who is my 4-year-old nephew.

Rate: $20/hour – $50/hour
