Belmont Station CASA Preschool Preschool and Camp

We believe that each child is a precious individual, unique and gifted in his own way. We believe that children learn by doing and experiencing life, not by merely observing it. In honoring this philosophy, we have developed a kindergarten program based on the big idea of CONNECTIONS. We will provide materials and experiences which allow children to start with the small idea and follow the idea as it grows and becomes connected to the greater whole concept. Children in our kindergarten will be in full ownership of their own learning, motivated intrinsically by the desire to further connect with the world. As part of the class, the grade level and the school community, each kindergartener will develop a sense of responsibility to the whole, while learning to recognize and value his own contributions and uniqueness.
