Montessori is a method which appeals to the natural intelligence of the child. AMIS views each individual child as a source of potential, and the aim is to tap that potential to its fullest. The AMIS Montessori environment ensures that each child progresses through math, language, culture, arts and sciences in a friendly, non-threatening and scientifically proven manner, while developing physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
Additional programs offered at AMIS include outdoor education, music (including optional private violin, piano and guitar instruction), languages, virtues education, ballet, tap and gymnastics, soccer, Tae kwon do, chess and sewing & textiles. Community building events include festivals, Cultural Studies and Diversity Celebrations.
