Northside Methodist Preschool was founded in 1958 by parents of Northside United Methodist Church. The preschool has been open continuously since that time. We are a part-day preschool for children ages 18 months to five years old, of any race, gender, national or ethnic origin. We became accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children in 1992. We are a well-regarded preschool with a waiting list of applicants. Throughout the history of our preschool we have been blessed by the support of Northside United Methodist Church and we are an important ministry of the church.

Northside Methodist Preschool is a caring community in which staff and families work together to nourish each childs faith in God and model the importance of showing compassion and caring for one another. We strive to create an atmosphere of trust and cooperation in which to promote each childs growth in the areas of intellectual, social/emotional, spiritual, physical, and creative development. We encourage childrens fascination with learning and guide them to understand the world more fully through experiences and interactions with others.
