A Child's Place at Notre Dame

At a Child’s Place, we promote each child’s emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.

Each year, A Child’s Place serves 60 children ages 3 through 6 years of age from the U.S. as well as Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central and South America. The school is licensed and accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), and offers an MSDE-approved kindergarten program. The school is open Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. C

A Child’s Place also hosts a summer camp for children ages three to six (entering first grade).

Children are accepted on a first come, first-served basis and spaces are open to the public with preference given to Notre Dame employees and students. Applications are available online and must be accompanied by a $40 nonrefundable fee. Children must be 3 years old by September 1 to enter our nursery school/pre-school program and 5 years old by September 1 to enroll in our kindergarten program. Tours are available by appointment.

Registration begins in January. The non-refundable registration fee is $100.

When a child is accepted into the program, a nonrefundable $500.00 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward September’s tuition.
