Step By Step Bethalto East Latchkey

Step By Step provides the Before and After School Latchkey programs for approximately 100 children attending the Bethalto Public School District. We have two sites: East Elementary for children attending East and West Elementary and Meadowbrook for children attending Meadowbrook and Parkside. These before and after school programs serve only school age children and provide fun educational and recreational activities for up to 50 children at each location. During the school year morning care is provided at East for all children beginning at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast is provided and the children are transported to their schools by bus. Afternoon care is provided at both sites until 6:00 pm. Full day care is provided on school holidays and usually on snow days at the East Site. During the summer, a full program is provided at East Elementary school from 6:30 am until 6:00 pm. All of our Latchkey programs are fully licensed by IL DCFS and provide a USDA approved food program of snacks and meals. The office for the Latchkey programs is at our Bethalto center.
