The Housing Authority was rewarded a Federal grant July 2010 for its Public Housing program. It is called the ROSS grant: Resident Opportunities Self-Sufficiency. We are fortunate that it is a three year program. It is very similar to the FSS program and our Coordinator will work with all of our residents to link them with any and all neighborhood services.
Child Care Assistance -
The ROSS grant program assist with a one time financial assistant up to $200 to secure affordable child care while attending educational/vocational training or employment. These temporary funds are allocated to license child care providers to assist with daycare fees.
